A few weeks back I thought I would take a fun few days off with my kids in Lake Arrowhead!  I invited Anna and my best friend Keri and her kids… and my friends Vicki and Russell, and their son Liam and my daughter’s friend Molly… and for good measure I threw in an engagement session among the pines.  I know, do I ever just sit and relax????  Well, my only explanation is that my job is my passion so it never feels like work.  And anyway, I got to work with this beautiful couple!  Can you get over Sarah’s stunning eyes.  And Shawn’s baby blue are also pretty incredible!

I am so excited to photograph their upcoming wedding at Laguna Village.  It is another fabulous event by An All Inclusive Event!   It is only a few weeks away, so stay tune for some more of these two stunners!  Enjoy!

What can I say about these two beauties (I know one is a boy, but he is BEAUTIFUL)!  The weather has been warm, warm, warm, but these two still agreed to bundle up in the winter clothes to “get the shot”!   This shoot reminded me why I LOVE photographing kids.  They had such great giggles and grins and just wanted to play.  I always think the best shots are unplanned  moments in between the silliness, and during this session we had plenty moments.  Thanks so much for spending so much time with me and sorry about the promised Cheese Burger…..it was worth the giant smile!  Enjoy!

Every time I do a photography session I give myself a little assignment. For this Urban Session it was to find a place to shoot in Newport that was entirely new to me! Even though I HAD to use the Ferris wheel (one of my favorite spots), Anna and I still went to scout out a new, urban, funky, grungy area! Success….I love this alley and the old glass door. It doesn’t hurt that the Fernandez girls are cute as buttons and are experienced models. Mom and Dad did great as well. Thanks to the whole family for making the trip down to Newport!  Enjoy.undefined

The wind was howling and the tide was high…..I was sure that we would have to move Tricia and John’s engagement shoot to another beach, but we decided to head down and check out the beach anyway.   I adore that particular beach because you can get so many different looks and landscapes out of just a small area.  Lucky for me… this was one of the only beaches protected from the wind and there was hardly anyone on the beach!  Sooo….my beautiful beach, a fabulous couple and sail boat blue seas, everything I could ask for in a photography session.   Not to mention, that I am a sucker for tattoos on beautiful people and these two delivered!  Enjoy!
