It feels like I haven’t been around SJC for a while now, but last Sunday I did both my immediate family shoot and this fabulous family immediately after. I have to admit, I may love these even better than my own family portraits. I am obsessed with converse sneakers on boys, especially black, and this little guy delivered. He was full of smiles and lots of fun. My favorite part was the tree, and him showing me his Marshall Arts moves in the leaves. Thanks so much for coming out to play!
I am in LOVE. In love with this beautiful puppy! Some of you may know that Bob and I had a Chowchow/ Husky mix for 17 years. Yes, she is the dog that always roamed the neighborhood! Anyway, she died last year and we got a crazy new rescue puppy, Leila! While I adore Leila, I still have a passion for husky puppies. So…. when I got the call that our sweet client got a new puppy and here name is Sasha AND she is a husky, I was so in! This was an awesome session with her great boys and he new girl! Despite the rain, we got some great shots and I just can’t stop looking at this beautiful puppy! I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed taking them!
My great friend Staci called me up to say that her daughter was getting her braces off and ready to capture her new smile! I always want to try something different, so I suggested that we go to my new favorite urban spot! She packed up the car with several “crazy cute” outfits and met me bright and early in the morning. I think her daughter is stunning! Enjoy!
The best part of being a photographer is getting to meet so many different people with their own personal style. I was so excited to photograph Alex. His Mom told me that he is into vintage clothing and is a musician. I said, load up the car with lots of different outfits and we will just see what inspires us at the shoot. Alex definitely delivered! I love his funky clothing and unique style. He told me about the “pile” and Anna and I are itching to check it out. Enjoy!
Some time this week most of you will receive our new newsletter, with the same name as our blog, ClickingwithKristin. In it, you will find that we are in search of 10 gals and 10 guys to create our new High School Senior photography program. Each of them will receive a free styled photography session, 10 free touched up images to use on Facebook or other social networking sites and 25 announcement cards. Britney and Andrew were our first shoot. I LOVE all these images, mostly because both of these people are simply gorgeous, but also because I shot it in the AntiMall/ The Lab… which is an amazing location in itself. I really think senior photography is much more fun when people come in groups, either boyfriend/ girlfriend or a group of kids.
