One of my favorite things is discovering a new beautiful place in Southern California to shoot! This spot was a fabulous find! The lighting was yummy, the architecture was gorgeous and the couple was stunning! Not to mention that the Ana (the soon to be bride) is Victoria’s best friend (if you ever visited our original location in Laguna Hills, you will remember Victoria the fun & fab photographer)! I had such a great time on this shoot! Victoria supervised and I got to take all of the in between moments. I honestly felt like I was in Europe with the City Hall building as our backdrop. Enjoy all the images!
There are not words to describe how excited I was to shoot a wedding for Villa Rockledge’s Wedding brochure! This historic property was built in the early 1920s and is filled with so many beautiful photographic opportunities, from a private beach, to gorgeous balconies to a medieval turret. We also assemble a “dream team” to get our bride looking haute couture! Berit, from makeup by Berit and Laura for hairstyling. From the flowers to the beautiful linens and chairs, An All Inclusive Event at Laguna Village did a spectacular job giving the estate a wedding makeover. If you are interested in checking out this beautiful spot, they are having a Valentine’s weekend open house complete with appetizers and a full bar for $40 per person or $75.00 per couple. The event is hosted today from 1-5 PM and tomorrow from 1-5 PM. Click here for more information! Enjoy!
Wow, the weather over the last two months has been anything but typical! You would think October would be the perfect month for an outdoor wedding in California, unless the year is 2010! Aimee & Tom informed me that come rain or shine, they were still having their ceremony outside. Anna and I geared up with umbrellas for over our cameras, but fortunately the rain stopped before the sunset ceremony. While we unfortunately did not get a beautiful sunset, the overcast weather made the wedding look romantic and dreamy! I LOVED the rolling hills and fields in the background. Aimee’s mom did an unbelievable job making her yard look magical. Overall it was a lovely evening. Thank you so much for including us!
