This was just a quick shoot of one of the cutest girls on the block with our new backdrops, let me know what you think!!

Wow, I have forgotten how crowded the Mission can be with photographers on a Saturday afternoon.  Lucky for me, the Edwards family is as “cool” as they get.   Their daughter obviously has star quality and is such a pleasure to photograph.  Even when she wasn’t in the portrait, she was still posing off to the side.  Her mom and dad were truly a joy to work with!  They just renewed their vows after being married for ten years, and you can really see how much they love each other.    We were literally ALL over the Mission grounds and all three were so sweet and funny.  Here are just a few of my favorite images of the day!

These two were an awesome couple for us to work with.  Not only is Brittany beautiful, she is organized!  She knew exactly what she wanted from our photoshoot and brought the fantastic outfits to make it happen.  Also, Andy was a GREAT sport.  He went along with everything we asked of him, even though he had just worked a 12 hour shift, overnight and had not had a lot of sleep.   These two are getting married next year on the bluff overlooking Laguna Beach.  An All Inclusive Event at Laguna Village is planning the entire event for them!  Thanks for making the day so easy for us!  Enjoy!

I feel really fortunate to live and work in Laguna Beach!  One of the things I really love about Laguna is the eclectic vibe of downtown!  There aren’t too many places in Orange County anymore that have a really great shopping and eating area that is unique.  That is why I have gotten involved with several other locally owned business to promote the 3 50 project.  Here is what it is in a nutshell:

3 stand for: What 3 independently owned businesses would you miss if they disappeared?  Stop in, Say hello (or in my case, e-mail me) pick up something that makes you smile!   Your purchases are what keeps those businesses around!

50 stands for-  If half the employed population spent $50 each month in locally owned, independent businesses, it would generate more that $42.5 billion in revenue.  Image the jobs and benefits it would bring to our hometowns.

For every $100 dollars spent in a local, independently owned business, $68 returns to the community through taxes, payroll, and other expenditures.

It only takes one person to start a trend and that is you!  Help Blue Sky’s Studio, Little, Fairytales and Little Bohemian start a trend in our hometowns to encourage everyone to support our local businesses.

Here are a few great shots from our “Support Local Businesses” photoshoot!  Enjoy:
