If you know me, you know I am passionate about what I do!  Sometimes, it is tough for me to pull myself away from work and just hang with my gals.  Well, when one of my best gals, Patience, invited me to a girls only day at a Disneyland, complete with lunch at Club 33, I decided, I was in.  First, let me point out, that Patience may be the only adult I know that is crazier about Disneyland than I am….. She had a permanent smile on her face from the moment we got there until she closed down the park.   And, Patience’s smile is contagious!   Patience’s birthday wish was to have lunch at the very exclusive Club 33!  Wow, was that place a photographer’s dream!  From the bathroom to the cool balcony, it was just fabulous.  And, I have to say that sipping champaign definitely enhanced the overall Disney experience.   Thanks so much for including me in the fun!  Enjoy:

Outside of Club 33- Just about to ring the doorbell.  You have to wait 5 minutes before they will let you in!

Yeah…… we’re in!  Waiting to be escorted upstairs! Patience’s big moment!  Her dream was just about to come true! the start of the day was a little chilly…. Kim and Patience went to shop for cute disney scarves to keep them cozy!
Blow out the candles babe!  This is your day!
Okay, I am in love with this bathroom.  Do you think Disney would let me do a boudoir session???? That’s right girls, you are HOT!Pirates or mice???

Sometimes when I slow down to think for a little while, I realize I have some really cute props, outfits, hats, etc… that I haven’t seen in a while.  Take this cute heart chair for example…. I love this chair.  When I found it I thought, “this will be great for sassy (yes, I know this is my favorite word) senior shoots, fun boudoir sessions and of course kiddo sessions.  But then, I got busy and piled lots of stuff in front of the chair and forgot about it for a while.   Sooo, when these great clients asked for something with a valentines feel, I thought, yes, I have a great chair that would be perfect in the park.  It was like finding an old friend and I got excited all over again.

The chair worked out great, as did the fun tutu and wings.  Anna and I don’t usually shoot in Irvine Regional park and now I am wondering why?  It was so beautiful with perfect afternoon light and the kids loved the pond and were really engaged during the whole session.  I am definitely adding Irvine Regional Park to my list of favorite places to shoot.  Thanks to these two cuties for making such great models.  Enjoy!
