I (HEART) THIS…

SO, we at Blue Sky’s Studio are gearing up for our FABULOUS Styled Session Shoots for 2012.  We can’t wait to capture all the beautiful families, children, high school seniors and couples in stunning photographs. And to ramp up for our amazing Styled Sessions and get our creative juices flowing (ok, and also because the idea of kissing my son all over his face is something I am never opposed to….seriously….), we did an impromptu shoot for Valentine’s Day with Kristin’s kiddos and my kiddos (Kristin took these pics in about 20 min…..that woman is a true artist I tell ya) .  So I MIGHT be a LITTLE biased, but these kids are just gorgeous.  And the pictures…..well, they need no words.

Rascals to Rebels Model Search Winners- Laguna Beach Portrait Photographer

Over the summer we hosted a fabulous modeling session for over 100 children in Rascals to Rebels clothing store.  A toddler boy and girl and an older boy and girl were picked as the winners.  While all of the Miller’s children are gorgeous, the grand prize went to their middle child.  Part of the prize package was this super duper fun styled session in downtown Laguna Beach!  I loved their super sassy outfits and can’t wait to shoot their whole family!  Enjoy!

STYLIZED EDITORIAL SESSIONS…..FAB-U-LOUS!

I am going to let you in on a little secret……..we are going to do 20 of the most AMAZING styled editorial sessions this year and we made some changes to our styled sessions to help ensure that they will all be stellar…

1.  We are only going to do 20 of them….but we are going all out for the 20 we do.

2.  We are using a professional stylist that will help with props and furniture.

3.  We are providing clothing consultations/guidance.

4.  We are spending 2-3 hours on each session.

Go big or go home, right?  I can’t wait!

Ok, and I know that the holidays are over and the LAST thing anyone wants to think about is holiday cards, but I beg of you….think about taking advantage of one of these styled sessions for your family photos for holiday cards this year…..especially those of you who want a standout, unique, “up-all-year-not-just-during-the-holidays” type of card……just something to think about.

Morris Family: Blue Sky’s Portrait photography

Thank you to everyone for helping make 2011 Blue Sky’s Studio most successful year to date!  I know I have been MIA, but with shooting, processing and meeting with clients, my plate has been full.  However, hopefully I am now back!  I just wanted to share one  sassy family’s photography session!  More to follow.  Thanks to the Morris family for reminding my again why I am in love with photography!

Smart Kids Who Play shoot: Laguna Beach Children’s commercial photographer

Take lots of wind, and sunscreen and sand and you get a pretty wild photography session!  Especially when it is after a BIG rain storm that left the beach covered in seaweed.  Oh well, the kids are adorable and the props and styling are done by my good friend Rashae Taylor, who is geting ready to launch the most fabulous Vintage Rental company!  The session was for my gal Jennifer Taylor’s amazing line of Chemical Free sunscreens and skin care, Smart Girls Who Surf (definitely click to check out her website).  Thanks to all involved!  My favorite one has to be baby Jensen working her little heart out to get sunscreen ALL OVER HER BODY!  Enjoy!
