A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of taking some fantastic pics of the super gorgeous Bailey Carr. What a beauty this girl is!! Someone needs to find this girl an agent! As you can tell, the camera loved her, and what’s not to love? And the best part is, she is just as much of a beauty on the inside as she looks on the outside. The last time I saw this beautiful gal, she was still in middle school. I can hardly believe that she is already in her Senior year of high school. She is still just as lovely as I remember and we had a blast running around the Montage in Laguna Beach. Although the weather was bad, bad, bad…..she still looks stunning. You can see from the last image, that the thick fog rolled in during our session. A little grey weather didn’t put a damper on her beautiful smile. One of the last times I saw this family, was when their oldest daughter was having a birthday party at Blue Sky’s Salon and Studio! Wow, it was so crazy to see how grown up she has become. It feels like only yesterday I was dressing up in a princess costume and hosting 6-10 parties a week for little girls and now they are all grown up into beautiful teenagers! I knew I was going to like working with the whole family when I saw her brother’s cool “Chucks”….got to love those shoes. Anyway, this was one of the first families to participate in our fundraiser for Laguna Hills High School. I am so excited to work with all of the familes and share all of the unique images! Enjoy!
Take lots of wind, and sunscreen and sand and you get a pretty wild photography session! Especially when it is after a BIG rain storm that left the beach covered in seaweed. Oh well, the kids are adorable and the props and styling are done by my good friend Rashae Taylor, who is geting ready to launch the most fabulous Vintage Rental company! The session was for my gal Jennifer Taylor’s amazing line of Chemical Free sunscreens and skin care, Smart Girls Who Surf (definitely click to check out her website). Thanks to all involved! Over the years I have been involved in literally thousands of photography sessions. Sometimes it is hard for me to recall the ones from several years ago, but a few stick out in my mind. I worked with a beautiful young girl and her brother. She was born to be in front of the camera. The entire session I was laughing and loving all of her poses and moves. I was sure that prior to the photography session she had a Vogue Magazine ear marked with every different “look” she wanted to achieve. Fast forward 5 years to the Newport Fun Zone. She and her beautiful Auntie booked a last minute sunset session. Although the temperature was a little chilly, this little gal Rocked every look once again. She is destine for super stardom and I am just so lucky that I will get to say “I knew her when she was just a little girl”! Enjoy!
