Laguna Beach Kids modeling headshots

When I opened Blue Sky’s Salon and Studio, over 10 years ago, I really had a “Baptism by Fire” type of experience.  I went from a corporate job, to running a busy business with my husband and having two small kids.  My saving grace was how many helpful people I met along the way!  From getting photography tips, to helping run my party business and store, I owe my success to all of the people who helped me along the way.  Soooo, I get a lot of pleasure out of helping my friends and loved ones to become successful.

This fabulous photography session was part class and part real session.  Two of my friends are very talented photographers, but have not had as much experience as me in the studio.  I hope you all enjoy the beautiful results! :)

BEAUTY IN THE FIELD IN SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

We had so much fun shooting Miss Houlas for this retro-vintage shoot!  The orange trees, the “LOVE” letters, the vintage muscle car…..it was just perfect. Domingo Family in the Field: San Juan Capistrano Family Photography

Just a quick preview before I wrap it up for the day!  Our schedule has been such a whirlwind the last few weeks with fabulous families and lots of high school senior sessions, I haven’t had much of a chance to post.  Hopefully I will catch up soon and get to show you tons of lovely sessions!

I really loved this session, not just because the family is gorgeous, but also because they were so amazingly easy to work with.  Who would have throught that letting a boy throw an orange at you would be the key to a successful photography session.   A big, giant thank you to our stylist, Rashae from Fansea Finds, for the couch and to Sriti for the clothing suggestions.  Enjoy… and Christie we are super excited to see you tomorrow!

Styled Session with Miss Chloe

What a fun shoot this was with beauty Miss Chloe!  She is such a doll and as you can tell, the camera just loves her.  We had some extra fun out on this shoot when we ran into a fellow photographer who was shooting a session with a handsome guy who stepped in for some impromptu photos on Chloe’s shoot.  These are just a few of our favorite shots from the shoot….there were so many of them it was hard to narrow them down! But my favorite shot has to be the one of Chloe in the field of yellow flowers. It’s super duper pretty, don’t ya think?
