Laguna Beach Kids modeling headshots

When I opened Blue Sky’s Salon and Studio, over 10 years ago, I really had a “Baptism by Fire” type of experience.  I went from a corporate job, to running a busy business with my husband and having two small kids.  My saving grace was how many helpful people I met along the way!  From getting photography tips, to helping run my party business and store, I owe my success to all of the people who helped me along the way.  Soooo, I get a lot of pleasure out of helping my friends and loved ones to become successful.

This fabulous photography session was part class and part real session.  Two of my friends are very talented photographers, but have not had as much experience as me in the studio.  I hope you all enjoy the beautiful results! :)

My life in a nutshell consists of family, church, friends, photography, and swimming!  My favorite is when these blend together and I get to photograph friends and when they are swimming friends, then all the better! :)  These three beautiful girls spend LOTS of time with my kids, as they all swim for Nova.  It was so fun to get to spend a few hours with them away from the pool and see just how fabulous they are in front of my lens!  THANK you for “bringing it” for the session ladies!  I can’t wait to photograph their whole family later this summer!

I (HEART) THIS…

SO, we at Blue Sky’s Studio are gearing up for our FABULOUS Styled Session Shoots for 2012.  We can’t wait to capture all the beautiful families, children, high school seniors and couples in stunning photographs. And to ramp up for our amazing Styled Sessions and get our creative juices flowing (ok, and also because the idea of kissing my son all over his face is something I am never opposed to….seriously….), we did an impromptu shoot for Valentine’s Day with Kristin’s kiddos and my kiddos (Kristin took these pics in about 20 min…..that woman is a true artist I tell ya) .  So I MIGHT be a LITTLE biased, but these kids are just gorgeous.  And the pictures…..well, they need no words.

Taylor Modeling Session: Orange County Children’s photographer

What can I say about these two beauties (I know one is a boy, but he is BEAUTIFUL)!  The weather has been warm, warm, warm, but these two still agreed to bundle up in the winter clothes to “get the shot”!   This shoot reminded me why I LOVE photographing kids.  They had such great giggles and grins and just wanted to play.  I always think the best shots are unplanned  moments in between the silliness, and during this session we had plenty moments.  Thanks so much for spending so much time with me and sorry about the promised Cheese Burger…..it was worth the giant smile!  Enjoy!
