I’m having so much fun shooting Valentine’s Day themed photos this season. These kids (most of them are kids anyway) are just too adorable. It makes you realize how precious and pure the love of a child is. Below is some inspiration for your Valentine’s Day photos.

Check out these ideas (and photos) by yours truly. And get ready for cuteness overload. ;)

Kisses & Hugs

It’s so fun to get siblings to show some love, their character shows through in wonderful candid shots. These first two are my babies.

You’ve got my heart on a string…

The beautiful sisters above are a great segway to “hearts!” Hanging some glittering hearts all around in the studio gives Valentine’s photos a fun, whimsical feel.

Props

Props and accessories are so much fun for Valentine’s Day photos. Let’s start with some X’s and O’s!

Okay, we just can’t get enough of hearts–how about these different takes on the lovely shape?

How about some fun glasses, and maybe just the right book?

A family’s home decor can be a nice touch, especially with babies–this wall art provides the perfect scale for baby and carries the theme of love.

Let’s play…dress up!

These little cuties look so adorable, in these fun, candid photos because they were having fun playing while we shot.

I hope you’ve enjoyed these ideas and photos. That’s all I have for now, but we’ll blow you one last kiss, goodbye!

I love a fun modeling session either for an agency or just because.  Truthfully, I was a total Barbie lover when I was a kid!  I loved to dress up my dolls and play make believe.  I think these sessions are my chance to play dress up in real life.

This gorgeous gal, with the stunning ice blue eyes, has totally perfected the cute pout!  I can see her modeling surf wear or fun outdoor clothing.  Good luck to her!  Enjoy!

Where did this summer go to??? It was too fast, and I want it back. Thank goodness that we still get amazing weather in September and October. I vow to spend a least one beach day before the leaves start changing color.

Anyway….one of my favorite things about being a photographer is the great friendships I have made over the years with my clients. I feel like a small part of lots of great families, being there to document the changes over the years both in how the kiddos look and how their personalities evolve.

I have been photographing this absolute beauty for many years with her gorgeous sister and family. I have never had the opportunity to spend a lot of one on one time with her, so it was such a pleasure to photographer her for her budding modeling career. She is a truly talented dancer and well as a natural beauty, so we focus the session on both.

Thankfully I had her sister and Mom to assist me during the session and we had lots of laughs getting the perfect expression. Thanks for making me a part of the Hulley family! Enjoy!

Oh how I love this session!  Here is a cutie sneak peak at a few of the images from Day One.  Day two includes a vintage Merry-go-Round so you have to come back and check it out! :)

Ms. Abella is a vibrant, funny, silly beautiful girl who I had the pleasure of capturing with my camera.  Although she was in treatment and lost all her hair, that did not stop her from radiating joy and enthusiasm for her “glamour” session!  When I dropped off her art work just last week she said to me, you know I LOVE the balloon pics, but I really loved getting my pictures taken the most!  Really, a girl after my own heart!  Much love and hugs to her whole family!  I am so honored to call you friends! Enjoy!
