This was a really tough post for me, cause there were just so many beautiful shots from Anthony and Jessica’s engagement photography session!  All the elements were there for a fun and funky shoot including their cutie pie dog, Anthony’s new hairdoo and Jessica’s great wardrobe.  Oh, and of course, I love the tattoo of Jessica’s Dad’s name on her wrist!   For me, I had extra fun because I just got myself a new toy….. a Q-flash.  I am totally in love with the moody shots and flexibility this little light gives me!   Well, I am off to another beautiful wedding at Laguna Village.  Thanks to An All Inclusive Event for this great couple and so many others.  Enjoy!!

Time for me to get just a little bit nerdy!  I got to shoot an engagement session in….. ANGELS STADIUM!!!!!!! Yeah.  You know who was even more excited than me? Lorenzo and Lisa.  I am not kidding you, Lorenzo was like a little kid.  You may know how much I love the “pouty” look.  Well, this was really tough to achieve with the giant grin from ear to ear on Lorenzo’s face.  There is nothing better than photographing a couple in love, in a place they love.  I am so grateful for the opportunity.  So, I have to give a big shout out to our family friend John for setting this all up for me.    I hope you enjoy them as much as I did shooting them!!!!!

I peaked out my window the morning of Travis and Katy’s wedding and was sad to see the rain POURING down…..I think they say it is good luck if it rains on your wedding day, but “They” must not be a photographer.  Anywho, Anna and I jumped in the car early and headed down to Temecula praying that the rain would let up, especially since the reception would take place at a Golf Club!  It continued to rain through the ceremony, but the sky’s opened up just in time for us to do a beautiful bride and groom session in outdoors.  As you can see, it would have been a shame to have to go indoors for all of the portraits.  Katy looked stunning and Travis looked star struck!  These two we so sweet together.  Not to mention that they both has fantastic families and wedding parties.  Katy’s Dad’s wedding toast was the best I have EVER heard!   Seriously, he should be a comedian.  Enjoy the beautiful images!

Beautiful lighting and a beautiful family makes for fabulous portraits!  The McCarthy family really delivered.  Not only did we have a lot of fun, we zipped through the Mission capturing so many beautiful family shots, it was really hard for me to choose my favorites.  I guess my one of my favorites from the day was the family walking!  I love the way the boys are messing with each other!  It is so typical of siblings and every time I look at it, I get a big smile on my face!  Enjoy!

Sometimes the weather is just dreamy…..perfect for a furniture in the field session!   These two were so great and up for anything.  I love the classic, romantic look of all of their portraits!  I know these two were so excited to see just a few from their session!  Enjoy!
