Anthony & Jessica Engagement: Orange County Wedding Photographer

This was a really tough post for me, cause there were just so many beautiful shots from Anthony and Jessica’s engagement photography session! All the elements were there for a fun and funky shoot including their cutie pie dog, Anthony’s new hairdoo and Jessica’s great wardrobe. Oh, and of course, I love the tattoo of Jessica’s Dad’s name on her wrist! For me, I had extra fun because I just got myself a new toy….. a Q-flash. I am totally in love with the moody shots and flexibility this little light gives me! Well, I am off to another beautiful wedding at Laguna Village. Smith Wedding- Laguna Beach Wedding Photography

April is typically unpredictable! Sometimes it is cloudy, some times foggy, often times rainy…. but not for Chris an Colleen. The most beautiful day of the year just happened to fall on their wedding day. It was completely magical with the warm air and dolphins jumping right off shore. The wedding ceremony was at beautiful Laguna Village and all the details from beginning to end were taken care of by the fabulous An All Inclusive Event. My favorite part of the day was when Chris said his vows to Colleen’s daughter. It was so touching and I definitely wiped tears from my eyes. And although Chris lead me to believe that he was planning a surprise honeymoon in Vegas, he fooled everyone by taking Colleen to the Ritz Carleton in Hawaii. This guy is a definite keeper! We ended the day with a wedding portrait session at the Montage Beach! I had such a blast getting to know this beautiful family! Taylor Family: Laguna Beach Family Photography

For just a few magical weeks in the Spring the California poppies are in full bloom! Lucky for us the beautiful Taylor girls were just in time to play on the edge of the poppy fields in the Laguna Canyon. Of course, we also dragged the cozy couch into the field so Mom and Dad could participate in the session. The best part of having Orange Counties great outdoors as my studio is that it is ever changing and each shoot is unique.

Each year I look forward to seeing how all of the kiddos in our Blue Sky’s family change and grow. These gals (kids and Mom included) just get more and more beautiful. Dad, your not so bad either :)! I love their sweet personalities and sunny smiles. Thanks for playing in the flower field (despite the ever present BEES), chasing bubbles and cuddling on the couch! Enjoy!

Taylor Modeling Session: Orange County Children’s photographer

What can I say about these two beauties (I know one is a boy, but he is BEAUTIFUL)! The weather has been warm, warm, warm, but these two still agreed to bundle up in the winter clothes to “get the shot”! This shoot reminded me why I LOVE photographing kids. They had such great giggles and grins and just wanted to play. I always think the best shots are unplanned moments in between the silliness, and during this session we had plenty moments. Thanks so much for spending so much time with me and sorry about the promised Cheese Burger…..it was worth the giant smile! Enjoy!

Fernandez Family: Newport Beach Photography

Every time I do a photography session I give myself a little assignment. For this Urban Session it was to find a place to shoot in Newport that was entirely new to me! Even though I HAD to use the Ferris wheel (one of my favorite spots), Anna and I still went to scout out a new, urban, funky, grungy area! Success….I love this alley and the old glass door. It doesn’t hurt that the Fernandez girls are cute as buttons and are experienced models. Mom and Dad did great as well. Thanks to the whole family for making the trip down to Newport! Enjoy. undefined
