Can you believe it?  Dana brought a motorcycle to our Pinup shoot.  I kinda of thought, where am I going to shoot this, but being a studio on the go, we just set up in the garage!   You might recognize Dana from our Fun Zone engagement shoot late last year.  Well we are quickly approaching her wedding date next month.  Shhhhhh, don’t tell anyone, but she did this pinup shoot as a gift for the Groom, isn’t that awesome.  I swear, Dana stepped right out of the 50’s and is the perfect pinup girl.    I am so excited about this shoot and would love to do more like it, let me know if anyone is interested!  Thanks Dana, Anna and I had a blast!

Some time this week most of you will receive our new newsletter, with the same name as our blog, ClickingwithKristin.  In it, you will find that we are in search of 10 gals and 10 guys to create our new High School Senior photography program.  Each of them will receive a free styled photography session, 10 free touched up images to use on Facebook or other social networking sites and 25 announcement cards.  Britney and Andrew were our first shoot.  I LOVE all these images, mostly because both of these people are simply gorgeous, but also because I shot it in the AntiMall/ The Lab… which is an amazing location in itself.    I really think senior photography is much more fun when people come in groups, either boyfriend/ girlfriend or a group of kids.  If any of you are interested in participating, please e-mail us at blueskysstudio@gmail.com.  This will be first come, first served and I am sure the spots will fill up fast!  Thanks Britney and Andrew for being such great models!

As many of you know, I refer to the Montage beach as my personal office.  I know, it is crazy that I am so lucky to call such a gorgeous spot my personal work space.  It was great to get back to it with this fabulous family, The Burons!  They so graciously got into a bidding war for the session and Canvas we donated to St. Marys of all Angeles school in 2009.  It is always fun when I get to meet the families at the auction and even better when they tell me they outbid the competition for a chance at a Blue Sky’s sitting!  Despite being a VERY WINDY day, we got some beautiful images.  Buron family, thanks so much for playing with me and I am thrilled to hear that not only was the shoot not painful for the kids, but that everyone had a great time!

This was just a quick shoot of one of the cutest girls on the block with our new backdrops, let me know what you think!!

Wow, I have forgotten how crowded the Mission can be with photographers on a Saturday afternoon.  Lucky for me, the Edwards family is as “cool” as they get.   Their daughter obviously has star quality and is such a pleasure to photograph.  Even when she wasn’t in the portrait, she was still posing off to the side.  Her mom and dad were truly a joy to work with!  They just renewed their vows after being married for ten years, and you can really see how much they love each other.    We were literally ALL over the Mission grounds and all three were so sweet and funny.  Here are just a few of my favorite images of the day!
