These two beautiful gals meet me down at the beach a few weeks ago for a mother/ daughter photography session. The little girl was just a tiny bit shy, but once she got started, all the silly faces and poses were cracking me up! I love the images of her just about to laugh! Last Saturday was so crazy. We did at least 85 studio shoots in a 4 hour time span. We then ran off to the beach for a sunset shoot with some good friends of the family. On their way to the shoot, they got into a car accident. I thought sure there would not be enough light by the time they got to the beach, but I am happy to say I was wrong. It was a gorgeous evening and the huge waves really made the beach look magical! That, and the unbelievably beautiful lighting! I love these reflection shots! Hope you enjoy!
The weather has been so crazy this year, it has been tough to get a beach shoot in on a nice day. We try to schedule this over about a 4 week period and it just kept being terrible weather. Finally, this family agreed to go ahead and shoot on an overcast day! I am so glad we did, because I really like clouds and a little gloom in this location! These guys were so great and really up for doing anything we requested. Even though it was cloudy, the water and air temperature was really nice and warm. Directly after the shoot, they grabbed their skimboards and hit the waves! Thanks so much to the family for working with me! Enjoy!
Every once in a while I photograph a child that was born to model. This beauty definitely has Ford Modeling potential. We started just a little slow so she could warm up to me, but by the end of the shoot, she was all smiles and new poses! In fact, she didn’t want to leave the beach! Many of you know Suzi from The Perfect Impression (click to see her website) and that we work together on promotions and her catalog shots. These images are of her beautiful family. We rushed down to the beach, as it was getting dark, but we were still able to get some beautiful shots of her whole family. Her girls are just gorgeous, and very, very giggly!
