Prep Shoot for The Mission on Friday

We are so excited now be an official photographer for Kaiya Eve!  I am sure you have all seen their outrageously cute pettiskirts and accessories.  In preparation for one of our fashion shoots on Friday, my daughter got all dolled up so I could create some sample images and to say A BIG thank you to another designer ImaginationCouture for RUSHING this awesome outfit to me for my shoot (she also sent me a white one with Angeles wings which I will feature next week!)  Enjoy and there is more to come!

Sneak Preview of Saks Model Search Pics!

What a wonderful week so far!  I love meeting new friends and catching up with Blue Sky’s family of clients.  Thank you so much to all who have participated so far in our Spokesmodel Search for Saks Fifth Avenue and Blue Sky’s Studio back to school fashion show.  Today is my catch up day, so I will be working on editing and posting more images.   Here are the first two girls of my morning on Monday, modeling our cute umbrellas!  I love their beautiful eyes and great expressions.  More to come!

Jenn & Mike’s Engagement Shoot

Okay……… these two were in Laguna Beach scouting a location for their destination wedding (they live in New Jersey).  I don’t think I have every laughed so much on a shoot.  They are definitely my kind of people.  I HAVE to share the craziness of our shoot.  We started in Laguna Canyon and then headed to Victoria Beach.  I was raving about how great this location is and the fantastic castle around the corner, when I got more than an eye full.  Let’s just say, someone confused this beach with a nude beach and he was PROUD of his birthday suit!  I couldn’t stop laughing as I jumped around the corner.  So…. we thought, okay will give him a moment and he will put his clothes back on……BUT, he was in the same state about 10 minutes later and we were forced to walk by without cracking up!  Jenn, Anna and I had to look at the ground cause we were so embarrassed.  He finally wrapped a towel around himself, but we got lots of great images of Mike and Jenn laughing as a result!   As you can see, these two make a great couple and I can’t wait for their wedding day!  Enjoy!

Sharon Family Beach Session

This was the shoot that almost didn’t happen!  Bob and I had a relaxing dinner with the Chris, Mary Pat and family and I thought I would be able to do a quick beach shoot immediately after.  However, the weather was NOT cooperating last week.  It is a good thing that this fantastic family was soooo flexible!   They were only in Laguna for a week and we managed to squeeze in a great photo shoot on the last night of their trip.  Better to wait for beautiful lighting than to have so so images.  Well I think waiting paid off!  Thanks for coming out to play on the beach with me.  I can’t wait to finish the wall collage for Pete and Gerry!
