Back to the basics on this fun shoot!  These Daddy’s Day images are some of my favorites.  I always love when you bring something personal and these are actually Daddy’s shirts and ties.  Earlier in the year, we took some beautiful portraits of their Mommy and she is planning to give a mixture of the portraits to her husband for Father’s Day.  I am sure he will be thrilled!  Enjoy!

Okay, I know I always say “the best thing about being a photographer is…….”, but I have one more favorite reason to be a photographer… watching beautiful children grow up into fabulous adults.  Catherine has been bringing her girls to Blue Sky’s for photographs on a white background each year.  These images mark their growth each year and always have at least one image with their toes showing (if you know me, you know that I LOVE bare feet)!  Her daughter is all grown up and just got married in Napa Valley…..but she did not want to miss the final image of the series of her daughter in her wedding dress on the white background!  I think she is just beautiful!

Can you think of a more perfect gift for Dad than all of his girls ready to play BALL!   This is the best Father’s Day gift I have seen so far…… and I know Dad will love it.  Mom always comes up with cute, creative ideas for photo sessions just for Dad.  I know he is going to love this one, especially if the Lakers win!  Enjoy!

Yes, that is right….. the wedding of Jessica and Eddie followed pretty quickly after their gorgeous engagement shoot in the Mission.  Last weekend Anna and I had the honor of working with these two beautiful people on their wedding day in Dana Point!  We scouted a great little park for the bridal portraits and the wedding took place on the bluff over the Dana Point harbor.  These two radiated joy and everyone that attended was inspired by their beautiful love story.  Not to mention, these two can REALLY cut a rug!  The last dance was worth staying for!  Thanks so much to you both for working with us!

The best part of being a photographer is getting to meet so many different people with their own personal style.  I was so excited to photograph Alex.  His Mom told me that he is into vintage clothing and is a musician.  I said, load up the car with lots of different outfits and we will just see what inspires us at the shoot.   Alex definitely delivered!  I love his funky clothing and unique style.  He told me about the “pile” and Anna and I are itching to check it out.  Enjoy!
