It feels like I haven’t been around SJC for a while now, but last Sunday I did both my immediate family shoot and this fabulous family immediately after. I have to admit, I may love these even better than my own family portraits. I am obsessed with converse sneakers on boys, especially black, and this little guy delivered. He was full of smiles and lots of fun. My favorite part was the tree, and him showing me his Marshall Arts moves in the leaves. Thanks so much for coming out to play!
I am in LOVE. In love with this beautiful puppy! Some of you may know that Bob and I had a Chowchow/ Husky mix for 17 years. Yes, she is the dog that always roamed the neighborhood! Anyway, she died last year and we got a crazy new rescue puppy, Leila! While I adore Leila, I still have a passion for husky puppies. So…. when I got the call that our sweet client got a new puppy and here name is Sasha AND she is a husky, I was so in! This was an awesome session with her great boys and he new girl! Despite the rain, we got some great shots and I just can’t stop looking at this beautiful puppy! I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed taking them!
Oh how I love these two little boys! However, we had a little bit of a challenge down at the train tracks! The main problem is the youngest doesn’t like LOUD noises. You know, like train whistles and screeching brakes! Luckily we snuck over to the red caboose and he forgot all about the “real train”! Sometimes we have trouble getting these two to smile, but this year was a dream! I love their twinkly eyes and beautiful real smiles. Just a few short weeks ago, the weather was Hot, Hot, Hot! We searched for a quiet, shady spots to photograph these four beautiful kids in their very fashionable Fall attire. What excellent sports each and every one of them was to be dressed so warmly on such a scorcher of a morning! Well you certainly can’t tell from the portraits that they were in the least bit uncomfortable, so THANK YOU to you Goodwin Family! Enjoy.
Do you remember all of the super duper cute kids that we photographed at the Rascals to Rebels Back to School Model Search? Well this beauty brought her little sister to the winning shoot and we had a GREAT time. Their Mom is so sweet and brought a bundle of hair accessories (which we always adore) and the “to die for” sundresses that she just “whipped up” on the sewing machine the day before. Some people are just filled with create talent. We had a little trouble getting baby sister to let go of mama, but who cares, those type of images make the best portraits. AND, of course, I was thrilled, to once again pull out my pettiskirts from Kaiya Eve and sit back, with my camera, of course, and watch these two dance.
