My beautiful friend Lori called me to tell me she had been asked to model for a CD cover and was going to be all dolled up.  That and the fact that she just changed her hair color from platinum blond to beautiful red was reason enough for me to do a photo session.  I just love these images.  She is such a natural in front of the camera and her fun, quirky personality really shines through.  I think every woman should have an opportunity to get her makeup done and have a photo session.  It really helps to appreciate how beautiful we are at any age.  Thank you so much Lori for coming over to play with me!

The holidays are right around the corner and at Blue Sky’s, we are busier than ever. Take advantage of our holiday promotion before the rush of the holiday season takes over!

It has been a while since I have photographed these beautiful girls, and it was my honor to help them welcome their new baby brother to the family!  When their Mom called me to say she had a brand new baby boy, I was just thrilled for her.  She said he was born early, but she wanted to make sure she captured him while he still looked like a newborn.  Well…..he sure doesn’t look like a premi!  He is just perfect and what a beautiful little guy.  Each sister was so sweet with him, as was Mommy and Grandma!   Some days you are just luck…. I think we even captured him smiling.  What a wonderful life he has ahead of him!  He should definitely grow up to be an expert with the ladies cause he will get lots of practice with three beautiful sisters!  Enjoy!

Can you even believe how gorgeous these sisters are?  Their little lips and pouty eyes just make me want to squeeze their cheeks!  We had a blast playing and dressing them both up, although baby sister wasn’t as game to go through tons of outfits!  Yes, this was also another great shoot to use my favorite Kaiya Eve pettiskirts and dresses and for hair accessories by Rachelle Silzer!  A big shout out to my friend Kathy for referring this fun family.  Enjoy the images!

I am so thrilled that Vintage is all the rage in weddings.  It is my favorite.  I arrived at the Newport Hyatt to see Silvia getting the last touch of makeup applied.  She look stunning, and the hairpiece made the entire look.  She had her makeup done by Lauren at Glow by Lauren (click on the link to visit her site) and it looked spectacular.   Her dress was the finishing touch and both Anna and I got tears in our eyes.  She was just lovely.  I have never shot on the grounds at the Hyatt Newporter, but it was perfect!  In fact, after the ceremony, we went back to the hotel for our couples session.   We arrived at the church with not a minute to spare.  We took one quick portrait of Ray (the groom) and then assumed our positions in the church.

What can I say about Ray and Silvia?  These two are so much in love that it just radiates from them.   AND, they had the same wedding song that I had at my wedding 17 years ago.  So, naturally I cried at their wedding.  I know that these two will have so many years of happiness together.  Thanks for letting us be a part of your beautiful day!
