The beauty of working with a couple over a long period of time, is that in the end, I get to call them friends.  That is definitely the case with Hope and David!  These two have been together for several years and so, when they started to plan for their wedding day, they wanted to make it everything they had dreamed of!  From their wedding ceremony at Laguna Village to their amazing reception at The Hills Hotel in Laguna Hills the day was planned to perfection.  The best part for me, was getting to shoot the “Day After” portraits.  That is right, the beautiful Hope put her dress back on and actually got into the ocean.  Not bad for a gal who had really enjoyed the party the night before.  I am so bless to do something I truely love and Hope and David…. I truely loved you two!  Enjoy!

A magical ocean front property, and a simply stunning bride and groom made this one of the most beautiful Blue Sky’s weddings this year.  Petra and Todd have been planning their wedding day across the ocean as Petra had to wait to get permission to enter the US from Sweden.  Todd’s Mom, who is simply fantastic, did all of the heavy planning for these two and I think she pulled off such a magical event, in such a short amount of time, that she may have a future in wedding planning.  I love the simple red and white color choice they decided to go with and the sunset ceremony was the icing on the cake.  Emily, Samuel and I were honored to be a part of your special day!  Enjoy!

One of my favorite disney characters is Winnie the Pooh!  I can identify with his sweetness and that he can be a bit airy (I too am known for spacey spells), but my favorite thing about Pooh bear is he shares my love for “blustery days”!  Well, today being very blustery and rainy too,  is the perfect time to catch up on my much delayed blogging.

I first spoke with this fabulous couple after they toured Villa Rockledge in Laguna Beach.  They have a great love story, complete with Matt mistaking Mel for an airline attendant, and then spending the entire flight chatting and flirting with her until she agreed to go out with him when they arrive in California.  Fast forward several years and they are planning the perfect wedding.  As fate would have it, both Matt and Mel’s family ended up in the same place a few weeks ago.  They said, what the heck, let’s just get married now and plan our dream reception with all of our friends some time in 2012.   I was fortunate enough to be involved in their beautiful wedding day at the Surf and Sand Hotel in Laguna Beach.  Everything about it was magical, including the absolutely amazing, over the top suite that they spent their wedding night in.

Thanks to both of your for including me in the magical day!  Enjoy!

Great food, great music and an unbelievable view perfectly describes Connie and Mike’s beach front wedding by An All Inclusive Event.  Although Connie had a little hair emergency and we had an extremely high tide for the wedding portraits, the wedding went off without a hitch!  It was so sweet to see Connie with her Dad, and her Dad with all his grandkids.   There is a lot of love in this family!   Enjoy!

My beautiful client Rashae came to me with the idea of having a wedding vow renewal ceremony celebrating a decade of marriage between she and her husband!  I loved the idea, especially when she started to describe all of the details and special touches she was going to include to make it a one of a kind event.  So another family member was just about to celebrate their 50 year wedding anniversary and the idea for a Decade and 1/2 Century party was born.  They had a lovely sunset ceremony on Monarch beach and we set up a super duper cute photo booth right on the beach for all the guests.  Thanks to Rashae we had a giant frame, frame hangers and darling wing back chairs for the set.  Everyone at the wedding jumped in and had a photo session.  When they returned to the house for cocktails and dancing, we had all the images printed and framed waiting for each guest.  Thank you so much to the Taylor family for including me and my crew!  We had a blast!  Enjoy!
