Spring transforms San Juan Open Spaces into a dream location. Rolling green hills, wildflower fields, and golden sunshine combine to create a soft, romantic atmosphere that flatters every skin tone. During the Petersons’ shoot, yellow blooms and whispering grasses set the scene, beautifully complementing their rich wardrobe palette of reds, blacks, and neutrals.

Tucked away just a short drive from the heart of San Juan Capistrano, this open space is a hidden gem. It’s the kind of location that makes it easy for families to relax and just be themselves, which is when the best moments happen.

For the Petersons, we started in the wide open meadow before moving closer to the trees for some shade and contrast. Every turn felt like a different scene from a storybook.
