Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! We hope your day is filled with lots hugs, kisses and of course LOVE. Kristin and I had so much fun at our shoot for the Blue Sky’s mascots (i.e. Kristin and Sriti’s kiddos) for Valentine’s Day. The new studio has such phenomenal natural light and is such a fun space to use. I think Kristin captured our kids perfectly, don’t you?

It is like tax season around Blue Sky’s Studio, rushing around finishing up holiday cards, and making sure all the holiday gifts go out the door in time to put under the tree. In the middle of the madiness, we also moved into a new photography studio with beautiful, natural northern light.
If you are puzzling over last minute holiday gift ideas for teen girls or boys, you might consider a fashion inspired photography session in our new studio. They bring 4-5 of their favorite outfits, we bring accessories, etc and your young adults get to see what it feels like to be a real model. The best part is that you have an entire portfolio of beautiful shots of your child. The added bonus is, it really empowers kids and helps them see how beautiful/ handsome they really are! Three years or so ago I ran one of our most popular promotions at Blue Sky’s, Portfolio Editorial Sessions. You are all probably familiar with my January and February portfolio updating. I come up with some really fun ideas and you let me borrow your families and kids to make the ideas come to life. Well, it is kind of old school these days, but three years ago the sofa in a field was rarely seen. I had Sriti Fusillo call me and tell me she really wanted to do an “over the top” family session with the sofa in the field, complete with fabulous shoes and gorgeous kiddos. I was in….. 3 years later she is our fabulous graphic artist and marketing guru and I get to be inspired by her family on a regular basis. So without further delay, the Fusillo family modeling in “Mellow Yellow”!
