Another fabulous styled session with Rashae Taylor in my favorite field!  I had the priveledge of working with Taylor after photographing 3 of her 4 brothers.  Now I don’t want to be all about girl power or anything, and not to put the guys down, but I LOVED working with the gal in the family!  She is soooo beautiful and sweet and was just lots of fun!  Her Mom and Grandmom were also incredible!  There is too many beautiful images from this session to show them all on the blog, but these are just a few of my favorites!  Enjoy!

Just a quick post of another young, beauty!  Busy working on lots of new things for the holidays!  Enjoy!

Nothing is better for me that watching kids grow into beautiful young adults!  So when I was asked to shoot the Collins’ daughter I was more than thrilled.  Even better, she wanted to bring one of her good friends along for the session.  If you didn’t know, for any High School senior photography session you do with Blue Sky’s, you can bring along your “bestie” for no additional cost (that’s two for one!).  These two gals were amazing.  At one point I forgot they were seniors and felt like I was doing a commercial shoot.  Anyway, I am super excited to share with both of them!  Here is just a sneak peak!

Lately I feel like the queen of modeling and acting headshots.  It is a crown I wear very proudly!  These may be my favorite type of photography sessions.  Gorgeous, talented kids just bein’ themselves.  Our itty bitty, tiny studio is an ideal place for these sessions.  Take this cutie pie!  I know someday I am going to be asking him for his autograph.  He is serious talented and not to mention cute as a button (does that even make sense?)  Anyway Ava and I had a great time with his whole family!  Enjoy just a little sneak peak!

So for just a little bit of personal information about me, I am a health food nut!  If I was rich and famous, my one indulgence would be a chopper.   I just want someone to chop tons of fresh veggies and fruit for me and I will do the rest.  My idea of fun is to wander around in Wholefoods and dream up healthy recipes.  My favorite breakfast is a smoothie (made in my amazing Vitamixer) with spinach, kale, super greens, frozen acai berries, blueberry juice, pineapple, blackberries, flax oil and a banana.   Seriously… I actually love it!

This leads to an amazing morning a few weeks ago when my good friend, Lisa Rieden (I know… she has tons of good friends cause she is so sweet) asked me to be the photographer for the executive chefs of both the Laguna Niguel and the “coming soon” new Wholefoods in Fashion Island.  Okay, I adore kids and all and a good wedding makes me swoon… but Wholefoods???? These people are like my idols.  It was such a great experience and Ashley (the executive chef in Laguna Niguel) plated three delicious entrees that she will feature in upcoming special “Chef’s table” events.  I think all the details are in the store or on their website.  Anywho, thanks to Lisa for thinking of me and making me feel like a “Rock Star” photographer for the morning!
