Every once in a while I have a new born shoot that is just so yummy and fuss free I think “all I wanna do it work with babies”!  Of course, I love faces of all ages, but something about a fresh, sweet baby just gets to me.  Little Dominic was just a pure joy to photograph.  I just purchased these cutie little hats and was so excited to get a chance to photograph a new baby boy.  He was perfect and modeled every single new hat without missing a beat (okay, he did pee on me, but what can you expect from a naked new boy???)!   Enjoy!!!!!

Wow was all I could say when I met Hope and David at the Mission in San Juan Capistrano for their engagement session.  Seriously, they both look so fabulous and brought the perfect attire for every part of the Blue Sky’s engagement session.  We started out with some gorgeous romantic shots in the Mission.  We followed that up with wandering around the historic district.  There was literally 1oos of beautiful spots to photograph these two.  Doesn’t Hope’s makeup look fantastic!  Thanks to Berit from Makeup by Berit for doing such an awesome job!  I can’t wait for the wedding at Laguna Village by An All Inclusive Event, followed by the reception at The Hills hotel in Laguna Hills.  The best part of all is that they are going to follow up the ceremony with a Thrash the Dress session!  That’s right, Hope is going in the Ocean in her beautiful wedding dress!  Stay tuned and enjoy!

I fell in love with this couple almost two years ago during their engagement session.  Brittany is beautiful and one of the sweetest people I have ever met.  Andy is an amazing guy and totally in love with Brittany.  In fact, I think the first sparks flew between these two in 5th grade and they have been together ever since.  Needless to say, I was so excited that their wedding day planned by An All Inclusive Event had finally arrived.  Brittany is not only a hottie, but she is also a talented designer.  She redesigned her wedding dress as well as designed all of the dresses for the bridesmaids.  Take one look at Brittany’s Mommy and you can see that good looks definitely run in this family.  The wedding day was just fabulous, but my favorite part of the whole celebration was watching Brittany and her twin brother perform their sibling dance.   Seriously, these two can really get down!  Enjoy!

This is this story of a 13 year romance, ending in a beautiful wedding celebration uniquely Jessica and Anthony.   It was a picture perfect day at the beach, just the right amount of diffused light peaking through the clouds.  Jessica was with her best girl friends from high school while Anthony, a little nervous, finished getting ready in his room!   Jessica had not one, but two fantastic dresses and, super duper hot shoes!  We had fun finding some new locations at the Holiday Inn Laguna Beach (which, by the way, is a great spot for wedding portraits) and then we were off to Laguna Village for another beautiful All Inclusive Wedding.  Instead of a more traditional wedding, Anthony waited in anticipation while Jessica met him at the bottom of the stairs so they could walk down the isle together.  After a quick ceremony it was down to the beach where, in Anthony’s words, I earned my $$$$ laying in the sand laughing at both of their silly antics.  One of my favorite images on the day is Anthony and Jessica running down the beach holding hands.  The funniest part was actually watching this, cause Anthony was really hamming it up, skipping and jumping…….  I also love the images of the best friends.  You can really tell how much they love each other!

Another break from tradition was toasting with beer steins and the funky cake topper!  All in all it was a fantastic day and I really had such an awesome time being part of it.  Enjoy!!!!

As time goes by I am more and more appreciative of the great people that surround me in my life. Success is hard independently, but when you have a brilliant team to rely on not only is it easier, it is also tons more fun. Laura Foster is a member of our amazing team. She is so talented, especially where hair is concerned. She and I have decided to team up on everything from weddings to modeling sessions. I highly recommend that you visit Laura before any photography session with Blue Sky’s Studio. For this photography session, not only did Laura do a great job on three different hair styles, but she also provided lost of the clothing inspirations and hair accessories and most importantly, she provided the sassy couple to model for us. I am thrilled with how all of the images turned out and I am so thankful that we spent the whole day on the session. My gal Cheryl at Radiance Artistry provide the retro makeup! Thanks to everyone for making this a great Blue Sky’s Studio styled session!
