After lots of planning, and replanning, we finally managed to get Katie and Travis’s engagement session underway.  Though the forecast called for rain last Thursday, the sun peaked through the clouds and we stayed dry at the Mission.  The Mission is such a beautiful setting for an engagement session!   Katie and Travis are such a sweet couple and the camera LOVES them!  Travis joined the military recently, just like his Dad did before his wedding, so we didn’t have much time to shoot the engagement session prior to the wedding (which is in March).    I love, love, love all the variety of each of their shots.  They both brought several outfits, which helped the overall look and feel of the shoot go from casual to seriously sassy!  I can’t wait for the wedding!  Enjoy!

Most of you know Anna, Blue Sky’s other full time photographer!  I have been after her for a year to let me take some portraits of her to show off on the website!  Well she finally said yes, and I think she looks stunning in every shot.  Thanks Anna for being an awesome person inside and out!  Enjoy.

Happy New Year!!!!!  Thank you to everyone that helped make 2010 such an awesome year for Blue Sky’s Studio.  We are really excited about some great new programs we will have going on in 2011!  Watch for updates both here and on Facebook.  I know a lot of you are wonder why I haven’t posted your sessions yet, and all I can say is I desperately need to catch up.  I am hoping to post all sessions from November and December by the end of the month.

Anyway, my family spent a relaxing two weeks in Arrowhead and Las Vegas.  It was great to reconnect with my kids and my husband after such a hectic holiday season.

So, now to the post.  Monica was so sweet to allow us to include her daughter in a shoot for Kaiya Eve pettiskirts, so of course I was excited to learn that her daughter was actually a triplet!!!!  She has two adorable brothers.  We met up at the Mission in San Juan and it must have been 20 degrees outside.  These kids were such great sports, cause it was REALLY, REALLY cold!   You would never know it by looking at the whole family.  The camera loves them all.  Thanks so much for braving the elements to shoot with Anna and me.  Enjoy!

This shoot has been a long time coming.  Dr. Cohen works with my Dad and my Dad keeps telling me, Mitch really wants to do a family photography session with you.  Time would go by, and I wouldn’t hear anything and then  again my Dad would say, “no really, Mitch wants to do a photo session with you”!   Then, out of the blue a few weeks ago he e-mailed me and said he was ready.  Now, being a mother of two and working full time, I totally get it that it is hard to find time to get everyone together for a shoot.  I am so glad we finally did!  Mitch has a gorgeous family and you can really tell how much the kids love both their Mom and Dad.  And did I mention the kids eyes?  They are fantastically beautiful (is fantastically a word?)!  The Mission made the perfect backdrop for the fun family!  Enjoy!

Wow….. is all I can say for these beautiful, sweet, cooperative kids.  The clothes are TO DIE FOR cause their Mom has excellent taste.  Everything about this session was just wonderful.  From the beautiful location, to the gorgeous kids I had to pinch myself a few times to make sure I was awake!  It was that dreamy.  Denyse, if I could hire a full time stylist, it would most definitely be you.  Thank you so much for going out of your way to make this session spectacular!  Enjoy!
