Rush, rush, rush seems to be my Summer motto!  However, I wasn’t too rushed this summer to get my babies (hardly babies anymore) into a styled shoot.  But, because well, I am ME, I had to combine the shoot with a really fun styled session.  This was primarily for Fairytales, with some Kaiya Eve included in the mix!  Not to mention, my daughter’s friend Bryce (his mom is my friend too) and his drop dead sister Lydia joined in the fun and two other gorgeous children, you know who your are, made this a fantastic 90 minutes.  I wish I had 4 hours, but next time I will plan better (yeah I know, I always say that)!  Enjoy, I am off to photograph the qualifiers for the Pan Pacific Games.   Michael Phelps, here I come.  I will post these images next week.  All of the Saks Fifth Avenue model search photographs should be posted by tomorrow!

I am sure you will recognize this beautiful couple!  Last year I captured A.J. asking Dana to marry him at the mission, after that we did a fun engagement shoot at the “Fun Zone” in Newport Beach, followed by a pinup shoot in my studio!  Well, they finally tied the knot and what an amazing affair!  Dana wanted to create a 1940s vibe and she definitely succeeded!  Everything from her dress, to the vintage airplane and car to the photo booth at the event was perfect!  One of my favorite things was the In and Out Burger truck!  Now that is what I call great wedding food!  And of course an AJ & Dana event would not be complete without their baby!  I am sure you can figure out who that is!  Thanks for a ton of fun!

Wow, I have such a great job!  I feel incredibly grateful this morning as I touch up and post Eddie and Jessica’s engagement shoot.   I am living my dream, meeting awesome people and getting to be creative everyday.  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Jessica and Eddie.  I knew they had something special when Eddie said, you look SOOOOO great Jessica, I just want to kiss you and keep kissing you through this whole shoot.  Well, you know I take pride in making my clients happy, so I said “Eddie, kiss away!”  We shoot at one of my favorite locations, The Mission at San Juan Capistrano.  There is not more beautiful grounds that I can think of to get so many different looks from a shoot.  This is just a few of my favorites from the day!  I can’t wait to photograph the wedding!

Wow, I have forgotten how crowded the Mission can be with photographers on a Saturday afternoon.  Lucky for me, the Edwards family is as “cool” as they get.   Their daughter obviously has star quality and is such a pleasure to photograph.  Even when she wasn’t in the portrait, she was still posing off to the side.  Her mom and dad were truly a joy to work with!  They just renewed their vows after being married for ten years, and you can really see how much they love each other.    We were literally ALL over the Mission grounds and all three were so sweet and funny.  Here are just a few of my favorite images of the day!
